coast of the U.S.A.. The band was established in south jersey in 1994 byJoe Donato
(guitars/vocals, keyboards); Lisa Corcione (lead vocals, keyboards);Bob Averona
(drums/percussions vocals); and Bill Burns (bass/vocals,guitar).
Lydian released its first album on cassette by disc makers in the summer of
1994 which received great reviews by the public and the media, and was featured
in a 1 hour live interview on WZXL 100.7 radio station by Jay Gleeson on
Superbowl Sunday night 1995 featuring several songs from their first album
“Along Those Lines”.
The band appeared in several Atlantic City Press
Entertainment articles including a full page on “Sticking to Originality” on
the local original scene in south jersey. Lydian has performed many shows
featuring their original album at such venues like “The Barbery” Phila,Pa.;
“BC’s” Smithville N.J.; “Uncle Mikes” Landisville. N.J.; “Schooners” Somers
Point, N.J., and many outdoor rock festivals around the tri-state area. Since the
mid 1990’s and a small layoff the band has re-formed and is currently in the
studio working on a second Album/CD for release in the near future. The first
Album has been upgraded to CD for immediate purchase on Lydiantheband.com
